What if the deepest poetry isn’t written by one person, but co-created with the world?

This book introduces and  experiments  with the idea of weaving, a form of aleatory or “intentional chance” poetry: a deliberate way to step back as the sole author and invite the world’s randomness to help write the poem. It’s an act of “composing with”—not just listening, but weaving what you hear into poetry.

The poems in this collection are born from a unique project at a simple spot: Dave’s Rock Garden at Moonlight Beach.

• The Rock Garden as a “Loom”: Thousands of painted stones—left by anonymous travelers with messages like Shine, Pray 4 Ukraine, and You are enough—become the shifting, accidental threads of a collective poem.
• The Poet’s Role: The poet’s job is not to own these fragments, but to gently gather them, arranging them into compilations some in free verse perhaps others in forms like the haiku or ghazal.
